Factory Engraved Hopkins & Allen XL No. 1 Spurtrigger Single Action Revolver, #F148, .22 RF cal., 2-1/2'' tapered octagonal barrel, nickel finish, bird's head rosewood grips, with 1871 patent date to barrel address. Moderately scroll engraved to frame in Oscar Young style New York type engraving. Light detail to all seven cylinder flats. Condition is fine. Grip shows thinning to finish and one repair to left panel. Apex of butt with small losses that detract little. Action remains crisp, bore is very good. Est.: $600-$800. (Antique)
